The best way to track the progress of HHRA-sponsored research is to sign up for our newsletter. In it we highlight:
- Updates from our team of scientists and Alliance partners,
- Recently published papers, blogs, and presentations at professional meetings,
- Important new findings from HHRA-supported research,
- Engagement and contributions in the policy arena, and
- The latest episodes in Heartland Stories Radio.
Please use our extensive bibliography of scientific papers and reports on the ways agricultural production systems and technology are impacting public health and the environment.
Help us by sending us any important papers we have missed that belong in our bibliography.
Data is the coin of our realm. If you have access to data sources we are not now taking advantage of, please contact HHRA’s ED Chuck Benbrook.
Engaged in the policy process or interested in promoting change?
The “A” in HHRA stands for “Alliance” and it is through partnerships that we strive to bring about constructive change in the policy arena. Please be in touch if you see an opportunity for HHRA and its community of scientists to constructively engage.
And then there is the $64k challenge — Rigorous public health science with real people is costly.
Sources of funding are limited, especially for projects that strive to study contemporary, ongoing and real-world health problems rooted in how food is grown, processed, sold, and consumed in the US.
Please consider supporting the work of HHRA. We also welcome help in identifying foundations or individuals that are interested in our work and might join those supporting HHRA projects, outreach efforts, and engagement in the policy arena.
